UNM leader, members assaulted in Kaspi

The opposition United National Movement (UNM) party said the Georgian Dream representatives attacked the party leader Levan Khabeishvili in Kaspi during the presentation of a pension program.

According to the UNM, the GD activists tried to disrupt the meeting. The party’s press service reported that during the confrontation, Levan Khabeishvili’s personal car was damaged and he was verbally abused. Law enforcers arrived at the conflict scene.

“In Kaspi, where we met with citizens, members of the city council, activists of Georgian Dream, employees of state agencies insulted us. It is clear that everything is organized. No matter where I go, they follow me, be it Kaspi, Gardabani, or any other place. Wherever I am, they follow me and they think that they will scare us,” said Levan Khabeishvili.
