UNM Chair calls Giorgi Gakharia “a coward,” criticizes him for counselling Georgians from Germany
Tina Bokuchava, Chair of the United National Movement (UNM) party, called Giorgi Gakharia, leader of the Gakharia for Georgia party, a coward for fleeing the country and lambasted him for counselling Georgians from Germany.
“I would tell you what was a mistake and we should all acknowledge this: We recognized this Troas Horse and Ivanishvili’s proxy and project as opposition. He was Ivanishvili’s project and supposedly a super law enforcer. In fact, he turned out to be a super coward, who fled the country fearing arrest, and is now counselling us from Berlin.
This confirms that he has always been Ivanishvili’s project and is now bargaining with Ivanishvili for votes in the October 4 Russian special operation. Remotely, he is telling Ivanishvili that he would take seats in the parliament and assign legitimacy to his de facto parliament in return for some percentages,” she said.
Giorgi Gakharia, leader of the Gakharia for Georgia party, confirmed on September 1 that he had been granted a residence permit in Germany.
