UNM bold to win most of runoffs

Petre Tsiskarishvili, a member of the United National Movement (UNM) party, believes their party will win the runoffs in the majority of municipalities.

According to Tsiskarishvili, leaders of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) accentuate the evils of the previous government when speaking to locals in every region instead of focusing on their programs.

Tsiskarishvili commented on the recently presented shadow Tbilisi coalition government, saying many different parties are elected. “Everyone has their voters, supporters, and this energy, I am sure, will give us serious results, not only in Tbilisi but throughout Georgia,” he claimed.

The runoffs of municipal elections will be held on October 30 in 20 municipalities.
