The Unified Diploma Post-Qualification Exams have officially begun, according to the Ministry of Health.

Minister of Health Mikheil Sarjveladze, along with Deputy Minister Tea Giorgadze, reviewed the progress of the examination process.

Sarjveladze extended his best wishes to the aspiring doctors for success in both the exams and their future medical careers.

The exams will conclude on July 28. A total of 1,592 qualified physicians are registered to take part. Those who pass will be eligible to begin their residency training.

Following the qualification exams, state certification exams will take place from July 29 to July 31. A total of 1,036 physicians are registered for this phase. Successful candidates will be awarded certificates allowing them to practice medicine independently.
