Ukrainian President asks world leaders to give weapons to Ukraine now
“You would better give Ukraine the weapons we need now than to look for weapons for other countries later. I mean Georgia, Moldova, the Baltic states, Poland and Central Asia,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said addressing the world leaders at the G7 summit. “Life must overcome death,” Zelensky said.
“The sooner this happens, as we demand, the sooner there will be peace in Eastern Europe. It is in our interests, it is in the interests of all democracies because democracies should be able to defend themselves. Freedom must be armed. Life must overcome death,” Zelensky stated.
