Two Danish journalists injured in eastern Ukraine, Interior Ministry says
Two journalists from Denmark sustained bodily injuries due to the shelling by the Russian occupiers, and were admitted to hospital in Poltava, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry has said.
Foreign journalists were injured during the shelling in Okhtyrka, Sumy Region. Currently, Danish citizens are provided with necessary medical treatment at the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital, the agency noted.
“Doctors evaluate their condition as moderate. Representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark were informed about the condition of the mentioned journalists.
It is impossible to react calmly to the invader’s actions. The civilian population suffers – children, women, seniors.
Even journalists who are showing the crimes of the Russian army against Ukraine and its citizens to the world are suffering.
However, we – Ukrainians – are strong, we are a strong nation. Ukraine is indivisible, sovereign and independent.
Glory to Ukraine!” the Ministry stated.
