TV Presenter Tengiz Sulkhanishvili died at 75

A well-known Georgian TV Presenter Tengiz Sulkhanishvili died at the age of 75 in the U.S.

Sukhanishvili’s name had been connected to Georgian First Channel for many years. He was host of several programs and head of USSR News Program “Vremia” group in Tbilisi. He was also a Chief Editor of Youth Programs Department.

Tengiz Sulkhanishvili organized the first TV Bridge between Georgia and the U.S. in 1986. He spent his last years in the U.S. with his family.
