Travel fare by double-decker train Tbilisi-Batumi to go up

The fare for traveling by a double-decker train from Tbilisi to Batumi will go up from July 25, Georgian Railway Company reported.

The ticket price for traveling in the First Class Carriage will be 74 GEL, Second Class – 34 GEL, Business Class – 124 GEL.

The travel fare in direction of Zugdidi, Ozurgeti and Kutaisi will remain unchanged. The 50% discount stands for children under age of 10.

The Company explained the rise by the increased costs for electricity consumption, maintenance and other expenses.
