Traffic movement for motor transport is free across the Rikoti Pass of the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international significance highway, the Roads Department of the Georgian Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure reported.

The movement of light cars, opened and free from 7 am, was slightly slowed down at Surami and Vertkvichala knots. The trailers and semi-trailers will be moving from 7 pm. The Patrol Police coordinate and supervise the traffic movement.

The situation is monitored under a 24-hour regime. Both light and heavy vehicles are also allowed to drive across the Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaphoni route.
