Tkibuli Mayor Davit Kublashvili convened a working meeting with his team.

During the meeting, the mayor introduced the heads of various departments and staff to the current situation in the disaster-affected area of Kursebi village, outlining the measures being undertaken to support those impacted.

“Due to ongoing landslide processes, it remains impossible to fully assess the situation at present. Geologists are systematically working onsite and analysing the ongoing developments. Given these circumstances, the municipality is operating in emergency mode. The role of each of you in assisting those affected, your high level of responsibility, and your prompt response to their needs are absolutely vital,” Mayor Kublashvili emphasised.

According to the Tkibuli Municipality City Hall, 45 families displaced by the landslide are currently staying in hotels in Tkibuli and Kutaisi. Additionally, the emergency operations centre continues to function around the clock.
