Three detainees released after Batumi arrests, eight remain in custody
Three of the 12 individuals arrested in Batumi yesterday have been released on written notice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed to the GPB First Channel.
Eight individuals remain in custody under administrative detention, accused of petty hooliganism and disobedience to police officers. Meanwhile, Mzia Amaglobeli, founder and director of the media organization Batumelebi, faces charges under Article 353 of the Criminal Code for assaulting a police officer.
