German Ambassador Fischer: Our term in Georgia has ended; Thank you, farewell and “Auf Wiedersehen”

Peter Fischer’s tenure as the German Ambassador to Georgia has officially concluded. Fischer shared the news himself on social media.

“Our term in Georgia has ended. Thank you, farewell, and Auf Wiedersehen,” Fischer wrote on his social media account.

For context, Peter Fischer was appointed as Germany’s Ambassador to Georgia in 2022, succeeding Hubert Knirsch in the role.
