“In order to ensure the safety of citizens and tighten monitoring and security measures, ten new rescue checkpoints have been opened along the Black Sea shore in the Adjara region, the Emergency Situations Management Service said.
According to the Service, the initiative is supported by the Adjara government.
“This change aims to ensure the safety of citizens on the Black Sea coast, especially during the summer vacation season. Additional checkpoints will significantly improve the efficiency of water surveillance and operational response to possible emergencies. We once again call on citizens to follow the acting rules and instructions of rescuers,” the Service said in its statement.
