Ted Poe – Putin wants to have political and territorial control on former Soviet Republics

“Russia and Putin, this Siberian Plebey wants to have political and territorial control over former Soviet Republics. But we have to be sure that he will not succeed,” Ted Poe, US Congressman told Georgian journalists in Washington after the meeting with Irakli Kobakhidze, Georgian Chairman of Parliament.

The Congressman from Texas and Head of Georgian Friends’ Group is the co-author of several resolutions in support of Georgia. Poe reiterated his support to Georgia’s territorial integrity and state sovereignty and condemned occupation of Georgian territories by Russia.
