Tea Tsulukiani – Statement of Russian authorities into Archil Tatunashvili’s case is not surprising
“The statement of Russian authorities into Archil Tatunashvili’s case (Georgian soldier killed in occupied Tskhinvali region) is not surprising,” Tea Tsulukiani, Justice Minister said in response to the letter sent by Russian General Prosecutor’s Office to Tatunashvili’s family.
According to Tsulukiani, an important meeting was held at Strasbourg Court in May and representatives of Russian authorities asserted that they had nothing to do with violations taking place across Tskhinvali region. Justice Minister also said that a lawsuit was being prepared by Georgia into Tatunashvili’s case.
Archil Tatunashvili’s family and lawyer received a letter from Russian General Prosecutor’s Office which said that South Ossetia was an independent state and Russia was not interfering in its domestic affairs.
