On May 17, our government, the law enforcement agencies and the authorities were fully prepared for ensuring the safety of various groups, – Minister of Justice of Georgia Tea Tsulukiani said.
According to her, everyone can see the police readiness on the streets of Tbilisi, which allows various groups to hold activities in parallel to each other.
The march marking the Day of Family Purity and Strength is being held in Tbilisi today. Marching was organized from Tbilisi Philharmonics to Sameba (Holy Trinity) Cathedral. “Equality Movement” cancelled the rally planned in front of the Georgia’s Government Chancellery in connecting with May 17 – the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia.
