Tbilisi to host World Fencing Championships in 2025

Tbilisi will host World Fencing Championships in 2025, the decision was announced at the Congress of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) held in Sharm El Sheikh city of Egypt.

One hundred and thirty-four delegates participated in the balloting, with 120 having voted in favor of Georgia’s capital.

The 2023 World Fencing Championships was held in Milan, Italy, Sandro Bazadze of the Georgian fencing team won the silver medal.
