“Yesterday and the day before yesterday, we saw violent rallies that is unacceptable,” said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
According to Tbilisi Mayor, everyone has the right to protest but within the law.
“It is obvious that these processes carried out by radical groups are ruled by foreign forces. Yesterday and the day before yesterday we saw violent rallies that is unacceptable. I have said many times and will repeat that freedom of expression is protected in the country. Any person can express his/her viewpoint in different forms, even through a protest, but within the law.
Insulting police officers, and throwing stones, bottles and Molotov Cocktails that we saw yesterday, were very hard to watch. Today Georgia is a strong state with its institutions and nobody will be allowed to stage NatsMaidan in Georgia,” he said.
