“Pointing fingers from outside is unacceptable; we will not take steps that could harm Georgia,” declared Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, commenting on how the Georgian Dream intends to retain power without Western support.

Kaladze emphasised that the ruling party’s primary focus is to earn the recognition of the Georgian people.

“The ‘Akatsukis‘ need to understand one thing: the most important thing is to gain recognition by the Georgian people. The owner and the government of this country is His Excellency the Georgian People. The days when someone ruled our nation from abroad are gone. Georgia is now governed by a democratically elected government representing patriotic Georgians, known as Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia.

The Global War Party is not only an enemy of Georgia but also a significant force in various countries worldwide. We also remember President Trump’s promise to defeat the Global War Party. So, let’s wait and see how these processes unfold,” Kaladze asserted.

The incumbent mayor of the capital assured the nation that peace would prevail in Georgia and that no revolution or coup d’état would occur.

“Let anyone meet whoever they wish. We possess various pieces of interesting information; however, our relevant agencies are working diligently, and I guarantee the people of this country that peace will be maintained,” the mayor of Tbilisi told the media.

Commenting on his expectations for October 4, especially in light of reports that Paata Burchuladze, leader of the Rustaveli Avenue movement, and Murtaz Zodelava, the United National Movement member, had met with Bacho Akhalaia [former minister in Saakashvili’s government], Kaladze stated that no revolution or coup d’état is on the horizon.

“On October 4, Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia will win the elections in the capital and in all other municipalities. There will be no revolution or coup d’état, and none will happen. Anyone who attempts to break the law will face a firm and lawful response.

As for Paata Burchuladze, it’s impossible to take him seriously. Just look at the kind of statements he makes. The messages he has voiced are completely illogical. A few days ago, I happened to see his interview with Inga Grigolia on social media. Any reasonable person who watches it will see the truth clearly,” Kakha Kaladze remarked.
