Tbilisi Mayor: Developments in the Middle East drive fuel prices

According to Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, the rise in fuel prices is dictated by ongoing developments in the Middle East. He emphasised that this issue is not limited to Georgia but is a global concern.

“Everyone observing the situation can see how challenging the circumstances in the Middle East are. I believe there are no doubts as to why prices are rising. This is not merely a local concern; discussions about fuel shortages and associated challenges are already taking place across Europe and in numerous cities worldwide. Of course, this presents a serious challenge not only for us but for the entire world. The factors influencing fuel prices are rooted in the ongoing processes in the Middle East,” said Kakha Kaladze.
