Tbilisi Mayor: Citizens to respond to opposition bullying on October 26
“We cannot change them. Bullying, murder, torture, and rape are in their DNA,” stated Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze in response to the opposition’s criticism of the ruling Georgian Dream party’s final pre-election meeting on October 23.
Kaladze asserted that the Georgian population would respond to the opposition—which he described as “preoccupied with fulfilling instructions from external sources”— on October 26.
“During their time in office, they showed both their people and the world what type of government should not exist, and now they find themselves in opposition. This radical group, this malevolent force, is prepared to carry out malicious directives against our country. We witnessed the treachery they committed in 2008, and they will be held accountable for their actions.
The era of radicalism has ended. Evil will never triumph. Violence will not prevail. Our country will experience peace, stability, development, and progress,” he affirmed.
