Tbilisi City Council approves new composition of Tbilisi government

Tbilisi Sakrebulo (city council) convened a joint session of commissions, during which the candidate for Tbilisi Vice Mayor, Giorgi Tkemaladze, presented the proposed composition of the Tbilisi Government to the council members. He also recapped the key priority areas outlined in the Tbilisi City Hall’s action plan.

According to Tbilisi City Hall, Giorgi Tkemaladze extended his best wishes to the newly elected City Council, expressing hope that fruitful collaboration between the Tbilisi Municipality and the Council will lead to many positive developments for the city.

“I am grateful to the people for their support of our team and the Mayor of Tbilisi. Today, I am here to introduce the candidates put forward by the Mayor. The team largely comprises the same members who have been working in the Tbilisi Government over recent years. There are only a few new positions, which were previously vacant.
