“Paata Burchuladze has many exotic ideas. I very much like his singing, but his political thinking is very far from the standard that he, as world operatic bass, offers us. Therefore, I would suggest he stick to his profession,” said Tamar Chergoelishvili, one of the leaders of the Federalists party.

Chergoelishvili was responding to Paata Burchuladze’s statement announcing a national assembly, which he said would mean creating a third republic.
