Swedish Foreign Minister congratulates Georgia on adopting election system

Ann Linde, Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs congratulated Georgia on adopting election system. In Twitter post, the Swedish diplomat said that the new election system can strengthen parliamentary pluralism and allow for more representative legislature.

“I congratulate Georgia and Davit Zalkaliani (Georgian Foreign Minister) on adopting election system which can strengthen parliamentary pluralism and allow for more representative legislature. Important to also implement reforms recommended by OSCE/ODIHR, and to improve gender balance in next Parliament,” Ann Linde Tweeted.
