“The 8-point plan is a set of consistent, orderly, well-thought-out steps on how to achieve victory,” wrote Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the Strategy Aghmashenebeli party.
According to Giorgi Vashadze, in the case of unity, Ivanishvili’s regime will not defeat the Georgian people.
“The 8-point plan is a set of consistent, orderly, well-thought-out steps on how to achieve victory. The formula is simple: if we unite, Ivanishvili’s regime will not resist the Georgian people. The rest is a matter of time and depends on our wishes and activity; the power is in unity.
The 8-point plan is the following:
1. We – political parties, public groups and Salome Zourabichvili – unite under a common brand;
2. For unbroken unity, we agree on the decision-making rule. If no consensus is reached, a decision is made through the majority of votes of participating entities, and the decision’s fulfilment is compulsory for everyone;
3. We show an advantage in public polls if united: the attitude of people changes, creates new impetus and demonstrates real force and alternative;
4. Update national campaign online, face-to-face in Tbilisi and regions, in a special application (registration program, of at least one million supporters). The app is used for engagement in the decision-making process, notification and coordination;
5. We update the general national assembly and organize a large-scale rally “One million Georgians”, a decisive attack could be on October 4;
6. Update demand for provisional government. We urge for a temporary government, which will hold new elections;
7. In the case of rejection or failure to meet our demands, we launch a disobedience campaign throughout Georgia, other steps are open for consideration;
8. We force them to appoint new parliamentary elections with fair rules. We participate in the elections with a common new brand, through which the Georgian people win with the majority,” Vashadze wrote.
