Status of Emergency Management Service is set to be changed

The status of the Emergency Management Service is set to be changed. The relevant amendments to the Law on Civil Security will be initiated to the bureau session today.

By the initiative, the Emergency Management Agency will be established as a sub-agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and will be accountable to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The role of the service referring to material reserve management and the structure of Emergency Situations Management Department remain unchanged.
