State Security Service calls on de-facto authorities not to obstruct release of Georgian citizens

The Georgian State Security Service calls on de-facto South Ossetian authorities not to obstruct to the release of two Georgian citizens Levan Kutashvili and Ioseb Pavliashvili from Tskhinvali prison and their transfer to the territory controlled by the Georgian side.

The State Security Service is holding negotiations about repatriation of body of Archil Tatunashvili, Georgian citizen deceased at a hospital in the occupied region.

State Security Service reported that de-facto South Ossetian authorities had named heart attack as the preliminary version of Tatunashvili’ death on February 22. De-facto government refused to admit experts of Levan Samkharauli Forensic Bureau into the region.

The meeting of Incidents Prevention and Response Mechanisms is scheduled for March 1 in Ergneti village.
