Georgian Airways launches direct flights between Tbilisi and Batumi
Georgian Airways has launched direct flights on the Tbilisi–Batumi route, with the first flight operating today from Tbilisi International Airport.
According to the company, direct flights between Tbilisi and Batumi will be operated four times a week — every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Flights will depart from Tbilisi to Batumi at 09:00, and from Batumi to Tbilisi at 19:30. The duration of the flight is 45 minutes.
The price for a one-way ticket is 295 GEL.
A launch event for the Tbilisi–Batumi–Tbilisi route was held at Tbilisi International Airport.
Guests were addressed by Irakli Mezvrishvili, Chairman of the Board of Georgian Airlines Group, and Tea Zakaradze, General Manager of TAV Georgia.
The event was attended by senior representatives of Georgian Airways, as well as officials from the Civil Aviation Agency and United Airports of Georgia.
