State Minister for Reconciliation meets UN Permanent Representatives
Georgia’s State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Tea Akhvlediani held meetings with Permanent Representatives of the Caribbean Sea basin and African countries in the UN.
The State Minister introduced the diplomats to the government’s peace policy for occupied regions and ethnic minorities’ integration. She reviewed the current security and humanitarian situation across the occupied territories, focusing on illegal borderization and violation of fundamental human rights.
The UN Permanent Representatives arrived in Georgia on April 30 and will stay till May 5.
