State flags hoisted on administrative buildings in commemoration of August war victims
Georgia’s state flags have been hoisted on administrative buildings across the country on the 12th anniversary of Russia-Georgia war and in commemoration of August war victims. The Georgian flags are lowered at diplomatic missions of Georgia abroad.
The family of Giorgi Antsukhelidze, a Georgian soldier who was killed during the hostilities in occupied South Ossetia in the course of the Russia–Georgia war of August 2008, attended the ceremony at Orbeliani Presidential Palace.
