SSSG Head holds talks with Turkiye Ambassador on strengthening security cooperation

Anri Okhanashvili, Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG), met with Ali Kaan Orbay, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to Georgia.

According to the State Security Service, the meeting focused on reviewing the robust partnership between Georgia and Turkiye in the field of security, as well as exploring opportunities to deepen strategic cooperation in this vital area.

During the discussions, both officials emphasised regional security challenges and explored potential solutions to address them effectively.

Additionally, the Turkiye ambassador congratulated Anri Okhanashvili on his appointment as Head of the State Security Service and extended his best wishes for success in his future endeavours.
