Spring holidays at school to begin on March 2 and to continue till March 16

Spring holidays at public schools will begin on March 2, instead of March 9, and will continue till March 16 in connection with the confirmed cases of novel coronavirus in Georgia – Georgian Governmental Administration reports.

A sitting of an inter-institutional coordination council headed by Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia was held today on the occasion of coronavirus outbreak in the country.

A decision was made during the sitting upon the recommendation of Ministry of Health to carry out additional disinfection works at schools, kindergartens and public transport.

The Governmental Administration also reported that the government continues working actively with the World Health Organization, and that the situation regarding novel Chinese coronavirus is controllable.
