Sports Club Athletics vested land plot to develop international-standard sports infrastructure
The National Agency of State Property, under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, has allocated a 26-hectare land plot at Bob Wlash Street to the Sports Club Athletics as part of the government’s sports infrastructure development program. The land was granted based on the July 14 order for a 20-year lease under investment conditions.
Zurab Tsikvadze, Deputy Chair of the National Agency of State Property, announced that Sports Club Athletics is committed to establishing world-class sports infrastructure, including two artificial turf football pitches on the site.
“Sports Club Athletics is the first entity to receive land under this government initiative. We welcome proposals from the private sector to further enhance sports infrastructure across Georgia,” he stated.
This program is being implemented collaboratively by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs.
The initiative offers attractive benefits for interested investors: the land will be leased at a symbolic price—just GEL 1 —for the first 10 years, after which the fee will align with the annual market usage rate.
