Special Penitentiary Service confirms that pardoned prisoners list includes two convicts charged for drug dealing
The Special Penitentiary Service confirms that the list of 34 prisoners pardoned by President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili on August 28 includes two convicts charged for drug dealing.
Sentence of imprisonment was halved for 34-year-old Tea B, who is serving a sentence under Article 260, Provision 3 (a) and Article 262 Provision 2 (a) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, though she has not left the prison.
As for another person 25-year-old Sandro A., convicted under Article 260, Provision 6 (a) and Article 273Provision 2 (a) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, has been released from prison and the term of probation has also been reduced by two years.
