“Donald Trump often repeats that he pursues ending wars and reaching peace, while the war in Ukraine would not have happened if he were the President. The meeting in Alaska was important because the Russian President agreed with the opinion of President Trump, saying the war could have been avoided,” wrote Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Facebook.
According to the Speaker, if peace was possible and the U.S. president had the tools in his hands to influence the process, this means that the war is waged between Russia and the West.
“The meeting between the U.S. and Russian Presidents in Alaska, with the slogan ‘Pursuing Peace,’ is a step forward to reaching peace, indeed.
Since the day of the election as the U.S. President, Donald Trump has often reiterated that he pursues ending wars and reaching peace, while the war in Ukraine would not have happened if he were the President. The meeting in Alaska was important because the Russian President agreed with the opinion of President Trump saying the war could have been avoided. If peace was possible and if the U.S. president had the tools in his hands to influence the process, this means that the war is waged between Russia and the West.
Such an opinion is nothing new, though it was formally confirmed during the meeting of the two presidents. We heard Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s statements before saying the war in Ukraine is a ‘proxy war’ waged with the hands of a puppet. This makes it obvious that foreign friends or adversaries and internal beneficial idiots serving their interests wanted to drag us into a confrontation.
At the same time, this confirmation directly makes it clear why the war did not begin in Georgia in 2022, because those who wanted to use our country as a weapon, unlike the year of 2008, encountered patriots in the Georgian government instead of puppets.
We should not forget that 5 months before the war, when the development of events was feasible, on the day of the October 2021 self-government elections, which were declared a referendum, foreign special services sneaked Mikheil Saakashvili into the country in order to change the government through a violent scenario.
Today, it is obvious for everyone what was the aim of this plot – having the people in the government, who would undoubtedly agree to use the “window of opportunity,” “rain of bombs” and “detention of ten thousand of Russian soldiers here” and turn Georgia into a pawn sacrificed for the next combination on the chessboard of global confrontation,” Shalva Papuashvili said.
