Speaker Papuashvili: We will not tolerate Georgia being blamed for everything

Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashili said the ruling team will not be patient and tolerate that Georgia, “our country, before which we have taken an oath, is blamed for everything.”

Papuashvili responded to opposition MP Ana Natsvlishvili, who claimed earlier today that she had not heard any justification for why the Georgian delegation was not in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The Speaker called on the opponents to think and acknowledge that they had sworn an oath to the country. Papuashvili added that the Georgian parliament and Ukraine’s RADA have deep relations, and a parliamentary delegation has visited Ukraine multiple times.

“Don’t be concerned about our relationships. We spoke with our colleagues in the Rada again yesterday; they are also surprised as to why there is so much anxiety in Georgia,” Papuashvili explained.
