Speaker, GD MPs visit Mukhrovani military base

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and MPs of the ruling Georgian Dream party visited Mukhrovani military base.

Deputy Defense Minister Grigol Giorgadze and Commander of the Defense Forces, Major-General Giorgi Matiashvili, hosted the guests and toured them around the new military base construction site.

According to the Defense Ministry, a new base of Special Operations Command is being constructed in Mukhrovani. It will have 24 new buildings and three rehabilitated facilities. The project costs GEL 70 million.
