Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met with the Senate President of Jordan, Faisal Al-Fayez, in Geneva.
The sides reviewed friendship and bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Jordan. Shalva Papuashvili expressed gratitude to Faisal Al-Fayez for Jordan’s decision to gift a land plot to Georgia, where the Georgian Culture Center will be built.
The Senate President got interested in the situation across Georgia’s occupied territories. Shalva Papuashvili and Faisal Al-Fayez highlighted the significance of friendly relations for fostering regional peace and stability in an unstable political environment.
Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, participated in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) conference in Geneva. Within the framework of the visit, they held high-level meetings with parliament presidents from different countries.
