Speaker condemns Brussels’ silence: Thirteen days without word on Presidential Palace storming

The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, has responded on social media to the storming of the presidential palace by protesters on Atoneli Street on October 4.

According to Papuashvili, it is a matter of disgrace that Brussels has failed to condemn the violent storming of the palace.

“For the 13th day, Brussels has not condemned this violent assault on the presidential palace. It is a disgrace,” he wrote.
