Spanish observer: Voting proceeding smoothly, hope process will continue in democratic manner

The polling stations in Georgia opened smoothly, with the voting process proceeding in an orderly manner, international observer Luis Jesús Uribe-Etxebarria Apalategui, a member of the Spanish Senate, told reporters.

“People are actively exercising their right to vote, and I have great hope that this process will continue in a democratic manner,” he said.

According to Uribe-Etxebarria Apalategui, Georgia is demonstrating its commitment to democratic principles by conducting the elections in a free, secure, competitive, and transparent environment, in line with international standards.
