“Incorrect information has been circulating on social networks and through various agencies, suggesting illegality on the part of the Stray Animal Management Agency. This is a complete fabrication and disinformation,” stated Beka Giunashvili, head of the Shida Kartli Intermunicipal Agency for Stray Animal Management.

As Giunashvili clarified, the agency’s crematorium is solely used for the disposal of waste generated through surgical and veterinary procedures, as well as for the cremation of animals that have already passed away.

“This falsehood, which appears to be aimed at discrediting our agency, is unacceptable. We urge the public not to fall for disinformation intended to undermine our programme. Any interested individual, organisation, or service, upon official request, has the opportunity to obtain authorised documentation from our agency,” he added.
