Shida Kartli Intermunicipal Agency for Stray Pets denies reports of stray dogs being burned in crematorium

The Shida Kartli Intermunicipal Agency for the Management of Stray Pets has dismissed reports circulating on social media claiming that stray dogs are being burned in the local crematorium as untrue.

According to the agency, the crematorium is solely used for the incineration of waste materials from veterinary procedures and operations, or for the disposal of animals that have already died.

The agency confirms it has all the documentation to verify this and is ready to provide it upon request.

“The information being circulated is false, and we urge everyone to refrain from deliberately spreading such rumours,” the agency states.
