Serbian Foreign Trade Minister: Georgia ensures Caucasus serves as bridge between West and East
At the Silk Road Forum panel discussion on “Rewiring Global Trade,” Serbia’s State Secretary for Foreign Trade, Nikola Stojanović, highlighted the vital importance of revitalising the Silk Road and broadening economic and trade ties between nations.
“Georgia’s efforts to restore the Silk Road are about turning challenges into opportunities. Georgia has ensured that the Caucasus continues to serve, and will continue to serve, as a bridge between the West and the East. We share this strategic vision to strengthen investment, promote sustainability, and foster entrepreneurship,” said Nikola Stojanović.
The Serbian State Secretary also expressed hope that the resumption of direct flights with Georgia would further develop economic and trade relations.
“We aim to bolster regional supply chains, not only with the Caspian and Black Sea regions but beyond as well,” Stojanović added.
