Temur Moniava, Head of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Division of the Emergency Management Agency says that up to 25 rescuers are involved in search-rescue operation in order to find a four-year-old child in Khada Gorge in Dusheti region.

“Search-rescue operation is underway for three days. We have already found dead bodies of a man and woman. However we are still searching for a missing child” – Temur Moniava said.

On July 6, 112 received a call out on missing of two adults with dual citizenship of the US and Georgia and their 4-year-old child. The bodies of adults were found. Initial examination of the deceased reveals no signs of violence.

The United States citizens have the status of dual citizens and have been living in Georgia, Marneuli district for several years.
