The National Environment Agency (NEA) has issued a warning of scattered rainfall across Georgia from late April 3 to April 5, with some regions experiencing heavy showers, thunderstorms, and increasing wind intensities.

Forecasters predict that on April 5-6, strong westerly winds will sweep through eastern Georgia, including Tbilisi.

“The expected precipitation could lead to a notable rise in water levels in rivers, the formation of avalanches in high-altitude areas, and the activation of landslide processes in hilly and mountainous regions. The overall threat level is considered medium,” the National Environment Agency stated.
