Salome Zurabishvili - Regarding Vazha Gaprindashvili’s detention technical formats have no result
With regard to Vazha Gaprindashvili, it is obvious technical formats have no result, the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili said in an interview with Georgian First Channel on Tuesday.
As the president noted, Georgia is ‘stuck’ in this technical format, which carries on without tangible result.
‘Regarding the case of Vazha Gaprindahsili, we witness the technical formats have no result. It is obvious the bureaucrats cannot make political decisions that we expect.
Georgia is stuck in this ongoing technical format without any result. We have been working to put back the format of Geneva International Discussions in its initial political nature.
Regarding Russia and its conflicts, we are working with international associations to be mentioned in all direction. For instance, days prior to the Normandy Format talks, I reminded the president of France to discuss the case of Georgia, our conflict and the occupied territories.
For the first time, during French-Georgian dialogue format, named after the legendary Georgian officer and national hero of France Dimitri Amilakhvari, France assessed the situation of Georgia in the words that have never used before,’ Salome Zurabishvili stated.
