Rustaveli Avenue’s Burchuladze: Today is Didgori; We will read declaration, and power will be in hands of people
“Today is Didgori. Georgia is reclaiming its freedom. I call on everyone to take to the streets; we have a flag to defend today, for the citizens of Georgia,” declared Paata Burchuladze during his appeal to the public.
As he explained, a declaration will be read on Rustaveli Avenue, which the Georgian people will accept. From that moment, the government will be in the hands of the people.
“Ladies and gentlemen, today is Didgori. Georgia is regaining its freedom. Take to the streets, everyone, don’t forget your flags. We, the citizens of Georgia, have a flag to defend today. Everything is going well; many people will gather. We will all stand together to protect our country and free ourselves from Bidzina Ivanishvili and his regime. Let’s unite, fight to the end, and we will succeed. Victory is inevitable.
I’ve just been observing; there are a lot of police forces here and there, but I want to tell you one thing: they are being misled, being set against us, and besides the traitors of the country. However, I am confident they will not raise their hands against us. Anyone who does will regret it.
We have come peacefully, and we will surely win; there is no other way. Everything will be alright. I urge all of Georgia to take to the streets. There will be a stage here, and we will read a declaration that the Georgian people will accept. From that moment on, power will be in the hands of the people,” Burchuladze concluded.
