Rescuers are present in Mleta village of Dusheti district to prevent incidents in connection with Lomisoba celebration.

The Emergency Situations Management Service “112” of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) told Georgian First Channel that facts of injuries of locals are frequent because of the difficult relief of a road leading to the church.

The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) on June 18 also released a statement in connection with Lomisoba traditional celebration.

MIA called on tourist agencies to refrain from transporting tourists in direction of Kazbegi resort across Mleta village of Dusheti district by vehicles having more than 30 seats from 08:00 till 18:00 on June 19.

The Patrol Police will be coordinating the traffic movement to due security measures, MIA said in the statement.
