Rehabilitated Ozurgeti Theater to open on May 14

The renovated Aleksandre Tsutsunava Theater in Ozurgeti town of the western Guria region will open its 153rd season with a premiere play by the theatre’s Art Director Vasil Chigogidze “Monatreba- Nu Gaaghvidzeb” according to the Georgian writer Nodar Dumbadze’s story in a rehabilitated building on May 14.

Ozurgeti Theater opened in 1961. Charity Fund Kartu fully funded rehabilitation that cost GEL 20 million. Prime Minister, Parliament Speaker, governmental members and public representatives will attend the opening.
