Putin's Spokesman: Dialogue with Georgia is not developing at the highest level

Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for the Russian president, said that there are currently no positive dynamics in the development of Russia’s dialogue with Ukraine and Georgia. Dimitri Peskov made this statement during an interview with Rasia 24 when a journalist asked Peskov about the possibility of inviting Georgian and the Ukrainian president to a May 9 parade.

“As for the government of Georgia and Ukraine, we see that, unfortunately, despite a number of contacts, yet we can’t boast of positive dynamics in the development of dialogue at the highest level”, – Peskov said.

He stressed that”the dynamics of the development of these relations depends on the fulfillment of obligations by these countries.”

According to Peskov, Vladimir Putin always congratulates the Ukrainian and Georgian people on May 9.

“These are fraternal peoples with whom we have deep historical roots. President Putin sincerely and deeply respects these peoples, “said a spokesman of President of Russia.
